PA @ Roseland Pullman Ballers 10U vs. Jem 10U

Pullman Ballers 10U – 4 vs Jem 10U – 8

This was a very well played game for two teams who have had minimal practice and face very little live pitching.  The game was tight throughout with Pullman leading 4-3 going into the 6th inning.

JEM 10U

Jem has an extremely athletic and talented team.  They have talent at every position on the field.

Terrell H.  is a physical specimen that plays beyond his years.  He has advanced awareness and athleticism which translates into having an above average arm and fielding actions.  He has above average bat speed and a aggrecsive swing at the plate which leads to him making hard contact most of his swings.  On the mound he continued to show strong arm strength with quick arm coming from a high 3/4 slot contantly pounding the zone with fastballs 53-56mph

Aden G. is another very athletic MIF with fluid movements and actions.  Aden started the game at short and made all of his plays look easy.  However his athleticism shows on offense.  He has a compact swing that is quick to the ball and leads to consistent hard contact.  Aden has gap to gap power that he put on display this afternoon.  Aden also pitched and showed above average arm strength on the mound.  He has a quick, short arm action that delivers from a high 3/4 slot.  His fastball has sink and glove side action.  Aden was 50-53mph on the day.  He’s extremely competitive on the mound.

Curt C.  Started the game with the fastest pitch of the day a 56mph fastball for a strike.  Curt is tall with long legs and arms.  His arm is loose and his ball jumps on hitters.  He showed great command with is 4 seam fastball by pounding the zone with strike after strike.  He has a drop and drive delivery and he delivers from a over the top arm slot.  Curt sat 51-55mph on the day topping out at 56mph.

Jordan T. – LHP dominated on the mound today.  He sat 46-49 and topped out at 50mph.  Jordan’s two seam has arm side run and sink which made it very difficult on the hitters.  He showed great command.

 

PULLMAN BALLERS 10U

Cam B. – Showed well in his two innings of work.  Cam has a mound  prescense beyond his years.  His arm is loose, he has command of his 4 seam fastball.  He is able to work both sides of the plate with confidence in any situation.  He works strictly from the stretch and delivers from a high 3/4 slot. Cam was 42-46mph topping out at 47mph.

Kyle J. – Kyle came in releif for two innings.  He showed great command and competitiveness.  Kyle throws a 4 seam fastball from a high 3/4 slot.  his velocity wras 44-46 topping out at 47mph on the day.

Jalen M. – Came in relief for one inning.  Jalen showcased a 4 seam fastball that reached 56mph.  He was consistently 52-55mph.  He has a drop and drive delivery with a high over the top slot.

Chase W. – Is a big bodied player with tons of ability.  He topped out at 58mph on the mound.  Chase has a high 3/4 slot with glove side run on his fastball.  Chase also swings a big bat. He hits in the middle of the order for the Ballers and has the ability to drive the ball gap to gap.

David B. – Showed well offensively and defensively.  David was 2 for 2 at the plate with two line drive singles to right field.  Defensively David was outstanding at 3b.  He made several plays to his glove side showing great anticipation and footwork finishing each play with and above average throw.
