Ballers (12U) vs Tigers (12U)
The second game of the week featured Pullman Ballers (12U) vs West Englewood Tigers (12U).
West Englewood may be one of the best 12 year old teams in the Midwest and will be tough for anyone to beat. They are fast, physical and confident offensively and defensively.
- Christian “Jojo” Hudson was very good on the mound. He pounded the strike zone with fastball and sank armside. Jojo topped out at 58mph
- Donovan Evans also competed at a very high level on the mound. Donovan topped out at 58mph. He pitches from a high ¾ slot and his ball sinks armside and down and in to right handed hitters.
- Christian Lott may have been the most impressive player to walk in the building. He tall and physical with long arms and legs. He is a man child with the bat in his hands and the ball explodes off of his bat. He squared up the ball multiple times during the game. One resulted in an indoor out, but if we were outside it was probably launched in to orbit.
Pullman Ballers (12U) were very competitive versus the Tigers. This was the Ballers first winter together and will continue to gel and improve as a team.
- Keenan Harrell pounded the strike zone with fastballs that topped out at 57mph. Keenan delivered the ball from a high ¾ slot and very sound mechanics. His future on the mound is very bright as he develops physically.
- Javon Carter pitches well on the mound also he topped out at 53mph on the mound. Javon has a drop and drive delivery and throws from over the top.
- Cam Wilkerson showed good athleticism on the mound. He has a strong quick arm and will be a force with more experience. Cam topped out at 57mph.
