Pullman Ballers 12U – 5 vs Jem 11U – 1

Pullman and Jem gave us a well played youth game on a sunny Saturday afternoon in Roseland.  Both teams showed great competitiveness and athleticism.

Jem 11U

Malachi W.  – LHP – showed tons of pitchability on the mound.  Consistently throwing strikes regardless of the situation.  He delivers from a low 3/4 slot and generates alot of arm side movement.  Malachi has great arm action, his delivery is loose and consistent.  Malachi’s velocity was 48-52 mph on the day topping out at 53mph.

Amira Hondras – MIF – a female player who showed great athletic actions.  Her lateral movements make her an elite defender.  She has an above average arm and great timing defensively.  She hits left handed and has a balanced beautiful swing.  She drove two balls to the outfield in both of her at bats.

Myles B. – MIF – Has athleticism oozing out of his pores.  He made several plays defensively at shortstop.  Made a tough high hop play look easy and second nature to him.  Myles has a balanced short compact repeatable swing that leads to consistent hard contact.  As a pticher, Myles has a drop and drive delivery and a high 3/4 arm slot.  His 4 seam fastball was straight and pitched to both sides of the plate. His velocity was 50-54mph and topped out at 55mph on the afternoon.

Josiah P. – 3B – played outstanding defensively. He has the ability to range to both sides and has clean exchanges.  He has an above average, strong, accurate arm.  He didn’t pitch but I’m sure he’s a force on the mound.

Pullman Ballers

Isaiah S. – Isaiah was stellar on the day.  He had two hits at the plate.  He hit two line drive singles.  Isaiah has a balanced repeatable swing and has strength.  Isaiah also pitched and showed strong arm strength.  He throws a 4 seam fastball and a changeup.  He has a short quick arm and delivers from a high 3/4 arm slot. Isaiah topped out at 62mph but sat in between 57-60

Antonio B.  – RHP –  Was stellar on the mound.  Antonio has elite arm strength and command.  He topped out at 68mph with his four seam fastball and worked mostly glove side.  Antonio also showed a curveball with a 11/5 sharp break that kept hitters off balance.  He struck out 5 of the 6 outs.

Maurice – Has long arms and long legs.  Has a loose athletic arm and very good command.  He is a drop and drive and delivers from straight over the top.  His 4 seam fastball is straight and topped out at 53mph.  He pitched mostly from 48-52mph.  Maurice also showed a changeup that sank and ran arm side.

Kelly W- Had an outstanding day on the mound and at the plate.  KJ hit leadoff and started the game with a double in the right centerfield gap.  KJ has a short swing and swings aggressively which leads to hard contact.  KJ also pitched and showed and balanced repeatable delivery.  He opperates from a high 3/4 arm slot.  He topped out at 60mph and pitched 55-59mph.
