Pullman-McNair vs. Oz Park

Two 13U teams matched up over the weekend.  Pullman Ballers – McNair and OZ Park.  They were playing at the brand new turf field at Englewood High School.  They were playing the 60, 90 field dimensions.  Both teams have great and very competitive talent.

OZ Park

Carter – RHP – Tall and slender with long arms and legs Carter pitched very competitively on the mound.  He has a drop and drive mechanics and delivers from a high 3/4 arm slot.  He featured a 4 seam fastball.  He pitched 63-65 and topped out at 67mph.

Nelkin – RHP – Tall and slender with long arms and legs.  Nelkin pithed from at high 3/4 arm slot. His fastball had arm side tail reaching 67mph.  He also showed a sweeping curvevall at that peaked at 54mph.

Phelps – RHP – Featured a 4 seam fast ball that tailed armside.  He delivered from a low 3/4 slot and his fastball reached 66mph.  

Pullman-McNair

Jonathan P – RHP – Pitched using his front side using a straight 4 seam fastball.  His peak velocity was 61mph.  At the plate Jonathan is athletic with a flat swing plane.  He has a knack for getting the barrell to the baseball.

Evan S – RHP – Pitched three very good innings.  Evan has a drop and drive delivery.  During his first inning of work his direction was a little off and it resulted in his velocity be 53-56.  After he corrected his direction his final two innings he was unhittable by pounding the strikezone and featuring a fastball that reached 69mph

Phillip T- MIF – Phil plas middle infield for the McNair team.  He showed quick feet and smooth actions making tough plays look routine. At the plate he has a short repeatable swing.  He barrelled three three line drives during the game.
